The master plan for Qingdao Laoshan Town Centre comprises two distinct zones sharing a common high street boulevard. A major retail, entertainment and leisure mall with an offering of department stores, hypermarket, mini majors and specialty shops will also include dining outlets, cinemas, bowling and ice skating. There is also a prestige commercial centre, with a 24-storey luxury business hotel and associated conference facilities, apartment style commercial units, offices and retail opportunities.
The 40-hectare development is by Qi Hong (Qingdao) Development Co Ltd and will become a landmark for Qingdao.
