Caulfield Grammar School Early Learning Centre WHEELERS HILLS, VIC
The Early Learning Centre at the Wheelers Hill Campus of Caulfield Grammar School is one of a number of facilities designed by The Buchan Group for the school. The design embraces and expresses the Reggio Emilia philosophy of teaching, wit the highly flexible learning spaces arranged to expose the children to a range of outlooks, colours and textures. The project is designed over two levels, with long sightlines on both the ground and mezzanine floors allowing children to be supervised by teachers at all times.
The project includes an external courtyard which provides a breakout space, and a secure outdoor play area. The Early Learning Centre opened in April 2003.
